**As of July 31, 2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This project is generally described as the installation of new water lines in various locations, meter relocations & valve replacements, and associated work. Question Deadline 07/17/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Questions received less than five days prior to the date of opening of bids may not be answered. Questions regarding this project should be directed to Alex Sandstedt, E.I.T., Project Manager, at (940) 761-7477 or alex.sandstedt@wichitafallstx.gov. Bidders will be required to submit a bid security, for not less than 5% of the largest possible bid submitted, with their proposal. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed by the Engineer of the City of Wichita Falls, and to complete the project within two hundred forty (240) calendar days thereafter as stipulated in the General Provisions. Liquidated damages are set forth in the General Provisions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder inside the limits established by statute.
