Renovation of an educational facility in Indianola, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project is "Capps Center Window Replacement", for curtainwall and window repairs, and associated work a in the Contract Documents. Bid proposals must be submitted, in duplicate, on copies of the "General Construction Bid Form" included in the specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the Base (100%). The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Performance and Payment Bond will be required fr successful bidder. Bids are requested for a Lump Sum Base Bid with any Unit Costs requested. In the event that electronic bid is submitted, a copy of the bid bond must be included with the submission. If submitting electronic copy of all bid documents must be provided within 3 business days if requested after the bid opening. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, except the Owner reserves the right to reject any and to waive any informality whenever rejection of waiver is in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also re right to negotiate with the lowest bidder for any deletions or additions to the contract, as they desire Plans and Specifications are available for viewing at the office of the Architect, Shafer Zahner Zahner, 510 University Drive, Starkville, MS 39759, telephone (662) 323-1628 The Project consists of curtainwall and window repairs, and associated work as identified in the Contract Documents. A. Work of the prime contracts comprises the Project, for the Capps Center Window Replacement. B. The Contractor shall ensure continuous and uninterrupted access in and out of all existing buildings for the duration of the construction period. C. General: Contractor shall have limited use of Project site for construction operations as indicated on Drawings, as discussed at project meetings and/or as indicated by requirements of this Section. D. Use of Site: Limit use of Project site to work in areas indicated on Drawings or as defined by the Owner/Architect. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated
