Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has issued this Invitation to Bid (ITB) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining sealed bids (Bid) from qualified contractors (Contractor) for construction of a new paved parking lot with associated improvements including storm drainage, electrical infrastructure, perimeter fencing, and landscaping. If awarded, a contract (Contract) will be effective on the date the Contract is approved by the RTAA Board of Trustees, signed by all required parties, and filed with the Director of Contracts & Procurement. However, the RTAA reserves the right to not award a Contract for any work herein; issuance of this ITB does not guarantee any subsequent award. Furthermore, the RTAA reserves the right to hire any additional contractors or consultants, as needed, at its discretion. Funding for this Project has been approved. A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, Including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this section. B. Include all labor, materials, tools, transportation, storage costs, excavation, training, equipment, insurance, temporary protection, permits, inspections, taxes and all necessary and related items required to provide a complete and operational communications system as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications. A. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete the exterior communication pathways and to ensure that they are in compliance with requirements stated or reasonably inferred by the Specifications and the Construction Drawings. B. This section includes requirements for underground conduit and communication vaults as shown on the Telecom Site Plans. C. Minimum requirements and installation methods are included for the following: 1. PVC and Rigid Conduit. 2. Precast Hand Holes and Covers 17" Wide X 30" Long. 3. Precast Hand Holes and Covers 10" Wide X 17" Long. 4. Detectable Multi-cell fabric innerduct. 5. Pull rope. A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, Including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this section. B. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete the testing, labeling and documentation of the telecom cabling system in compliance with requirements stated or reasonably inferred by the Specifications and the Contract Drawings. C. This section includes the minimum requirements for the testing, identification and administration for the telecommunications cabling system, including the following: 1. Testing a. Category 6A Cable Test Equipment and Test Procedures. b. Fiber optic cable test equipment and test procedures. c. Cable test reports. 2. Identification a. Labeling of work area outlet faceplates and jacks. b. Labeling of horizontal data, voice and video cabling. c. Labeling of Copper Patch Panels. d. Labeling of fiber optic patch panels. e. Labeling of fiber backbone cable. 3. Administration a. As-built drawings. b. Materials listing. A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, Including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this section. B. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete communication equipment rooms and spaces, and to ensure that they are in compliance with requirements stated or reasonably inferred by the Specifications and the Contract Drawings. C. Minimum requirements and installation methods are included for the following: 1. Enclosed Free Standing Equipment Cabinets (16 RU) 2. Category 6A Copper Patch Panels 3. Wall Mounted Optical Fiber Termination Cabinets 4. Rack Mounted Optical Fiber Termination Cabinets 5. Optical Fiber Patch Cords A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, Including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this section. B. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete the backbone cabling system, and to ensure that it is in compliance with requirements stated or reasonably inferred by the Specifications and the Contract Drawings. C. Backbone cabling includes inter-building (Outside Plant) and intra-building (Premise) copper and fiber optic cabling. D. This section includes minimum requirements for the following 1. Multimode Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cabling - Outside Plant 2. Singlemode Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cabling - Outside Plant 3. Cat 6 Cabling - Outside Plant A. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete the horizontal cabling system, and to ensure that it is in compliance with requirements stated or reasonably inferred by the Specifications and the Contract Drawings. B. The horizontal cabling is that portion of the telecommunication cabling system that extends from the work area telecommunications outlet to the patch panel or termination block in the telecommunications room. C. This section includes minimum requirements for the following 1. OSP Rated Shielded Category 6 Cabling. A. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, storage costs, testing, training and all necessary and related items required to provide a complete and operational video surveillance system as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications. B. The airport is standardized on Axis cameras and Genetec Video Management System (VMS). Contractor shall be certified by Axis and Genetec to install and configure the video surveillance system. C. Furnish, install, mount, secure, aim, focus, adjust, connect to the network, assign IP addresses, configure, test, commission and demonstrate all IP video surveillance cameras. D. Furnish and install all necessary camera mounts and supports including ceiling mount kits, trim rings, gooseneck supports, corner mounts, pendant mounts, brackets, support arms, pole mounts, back boxes, etc. All screws and fasteners used for camera supports, raceway supports, junction boxes and pull boxes shall be vandal resistant (Torx Pin-Head style). E. Install shielded OSP CAT cabling from each camera to communications pedestal identified on the drawings. See Division 27 specification for cabling, termination and testing requirements. F. Furnish and install Genetec software licenses for each camera. G. Video recording servers and POE+ network switches will be furnished and configured by the Owner. In accordance with the Invitation to Bid #25/26-01 entitled "High Roller Parking Lot Project," hereinafter called the "Bid," and for and in consideration of the covenants and payments herein specified, the Contractor shall undertake and execute all of the said named work (the Work) in a good, substantial and workmanlike manner, and to provide and furnish any and all of the labor, materials, methods or processes, equipment, tools, machinery, transportation and other services required to construct, install and put in complete and working order the Work described in the Bid, and in strict accordance with all of the provisions of the Contract including the following documents referenced below and made a part hereof: 1.1.1 Advertisement to Bid 1.1.2 Invitation to Bid & Addenda 1.1.3 Contractor's Bid Submittal 1.1.4 Contract 1.1.5 Exhibits: 1.1.5.1 General Conditions 1.1.5.2 Special Conditions 1.1.5.3 Bid Item Clarifications & Technical Specifications 1.1.5.4 Addenda 1.1.6 Contract Drawings
