Renovation of a multi-residential development in Guttenberg, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of 11/6/25 all bids rejected. A timeline for the rebid has not yet been established. Guttenberg Housing Authority bathroom renovation project at 6900 Broadway, Guttenberg, NJ 07093 (35 bathrooms) and 136 69th Street, Guttenberg, NJ 07093 (15 bathrooms). Removal and disposal of existing bathroom fixtures, vanities, tiling and flooring; Installation of new toilets, vanities, sinks, bathtubs/showers, medicine cabinets, and associated plumbing; Replacement of flooring, wall tiles, and light fixtures; Painting and finishing; Clean up of the site following completion; Compliance with ADA accessibility standards where applicable; and All work must comply with local building codes and modernization standards of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid submission deadline. The GHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. The successful bidder will be required to execute the GHA's contract within seven (7) days of contract award. Questions deadline: 8/28/25 at 5:00 PM. If you are an interested contractor and wish to be listed as a bidder, please notify our editorial staff at addtobidlist@constructconnect.com. 6900 BROADWAY, GUTTENBERG NJ 07093 (35 Bathrooms) and 136 69TH STREET, GUTTENBERG NJ 07093 (15 Bathrooms) The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs associated with the demolition and disposal of the existing bathrooms, as well as all costs for materials required for the renovations, including but not limited to bathtubs, toilets, vanities, sinks, flooring, medicine cabinets, tiling and painting and must include the cost for all of those items in its bid. IMPORTANT NOTE: NO QUESTIONS OR INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SUBSTANCE OF THIS IFB WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED DURING THE SITE INSPECTION. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE HELD AND SUBMITTED IN WRITING IN ACCORDANCE WITH IFB INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS. The work includes the following: Securing all permits and approvals required for the work; Removal and disposal of existing bathroom fixtures, vanities, tiling and flooring; Installation of new toilets, vanities, sinks, bathtubs/showers, medicine cabinets, and associated plumbing; Replacement of flooring, wall tiles, and light fixtures; Painting and finishing; Clean up of the site following completion; Compliance with ADA accessibility standards where applicable; and All work must comply with local building codes and modernization standards of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. Oral requests must be confirmed in writing. The only oral clarifications that will be provided will be those clearly related to solicitation procedures, i.e., not substantive technical information.
