Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available from Remington & Vernick Engineers upon payment of $50.00 per set. Bids must be prepared on forms provided, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and reference to the specific project. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, and a certificate letter from a surety stating it will issue a completion bond. Successful contract award is contingent upon the Town securing the necessary funds through lawful means and obtaining all required State, Federal, or Local permits. Bidders must comply with the requirements of Affirmative Action (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27), the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.), the Americans with Disabilities Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.), submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, and provide proof of business registration for themselves and any subcontractors (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44).
