At Building 827 of Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, the contractor shall clean and sanitize all ductwork, air handlers, supply diffusers, and return air grills. This includes two air handling units (AHU1 and AHU2), each requiring cleaning of components such as evaporator coils, condensate drain pans, outside and return air dampers, blower wheels, motors, and filter racks. All connected ductwork--interior lined metal, externally insulated metal, and flexible ducts--must be cleaned and sanitized. Additionally, 15 Fan Powered Variable Air Volume (VAV) units for AHU1 and 6 for AHU2 must be cleaned, including fan motors, blower wheels, and reheat coils. The contractor is responsible for installing service openings (access plates) as needed, ensuring they do not compromise the system's integrity or airflow. All work must comply with applicable Department of Air Force requirements, UFC, NADCA, EPA, and IAQA standards. Work shall be executed zone by zone to minimize disruption, and all materials and equipment must be approved before use. The contractor must maintain a clean worksite, adhere to safety and fire protection standards, and follow base regulations regarding work hours, utility usage, and hazardous spill reporting.
