Retrofit one (1) drive assembly on one (1) circular Thickener originally furnished by Envirex under original order #H106240-101. B. Services shall consist of disconnecting, removing, re-installing, and re-connecting the dome and bridge assembly. C. Replace the entire drive assembly, level, reconnect, set, and test overloads. The replacement drive shall be an Evoqua, model H40ALT Spur gear drive assembly with adapter plates. D.Remove, abrasive blast/prep, paint, and reinstall: o Bridge o Center column o Cage o Stilling well o Trusses o Flights o Skimmer assembly o Scum box assembly E.Proposal cost shall include all project management, all field and administrative labor, replacement components, crane services, standard and specialty tools/equipment, equipment rental, travel, and living expenses. F. NWRWRF shall drain and clean Thickener prior to the start of the project, which should take about five days to complete. G. The Contractor shall perform all work in a manner that does not interfere or negatively impact treatment plant operations. Any issues brought to the Contractor's attention shall be addressed immediately. H. A pre-construction meeting will be held at a time and date TBD prior to any work being performed. The Contractor shall submit a work schedule to the Owner for review and approval at the preconstruction meeting. Description The Village of Fox Lake is seeking competitive proposals from qualified companies with experience and knowledge in wastewater treatment plants to rebuild one circular gravity thickener for the Village of Fox Lake – NWRWRF. The NWRWRF is a regional wastewater treatment facility located in the Village of Fox Lake Illinois. The plant has a design average flow of 12 MGD and a maximum capacity of 30 MGD. There are two gravity thickeners at the treatment plant, NWRWRF staff are looking to have one gravity thickener rebuilt.
