The Spring Bay Fire Protection District, hereinafter called Owner, will receive sealed bids in duplicate at the existing fire station located at 310 W. Missouri St., Spring Bay, IL, 61611, for a Partial Concrete Slab and Trench Drain Replacement at Spring Bay Fire Station #1 located in Spring Bay, Illinois, including labor, tools, equipment, materials and services for construction The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. WORK consists of sawcutting, removal, and replacement of a portion of an existing concrete floor slab and trench drain with channel drainage system, at existing building located at 310 W. Missouri St., Spring Bay, IL 61611. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq. Every bid shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Spring Bay Fire Protection District, in amount of ten percent (10%) of bid. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of his bid. All bidders not previously prequalified in the past two years must be prequalified with the Owner. Prequalification information shall be submitted in duplicate on a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, 1986 Edition and received for consideration at the office of Kenyon and Associates, Architects, 6824 N. Frostwood Parkway, Peoria, Illinois 61615, by the bid opening date. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of Owner. Work shall be substantially complete by Wednesday,October 1, 2025
