Contractor shall paint the exterior of the buildings listed in the schedule of items. Work includes exterior surface preparation, application of one primer coat, and two coats of exterior paint. Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and tools necessary to complete the work and is responsible for disposing of all refuse off Forest Service property in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. To be considered responsive, contractors must carefully review all solicitation documents and attachments and complete all required representations and certifications. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, and tools to complete the work and dispose of all refuse off of FS property in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. SURFACE PREPARATION: Power wash or sand and scrape exterior paint surfaces in preparation to receive new exterior paint. B. PRIMER: Apply one coat of primer over all exposed siding surfaces to include trim, soffits, fascia, etc. C. EXTERIOR PAINT: Apply two coats of exterior paint over all siding surfaces to include trim, soffits, fascia, etc. Match the exterior finish color for all siding, trim, soffits, fascia, etc to the existing colors as close as possible.
