Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 6,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation invites experienced design firms to submit qualifications to provide full architectural and engineering design services for the SBI Building 9 Roof Replacement and HVAC Improvements. SBI Building 9 is located at the Garner Road Complex in Raleigh, NC. The project includes replacement of the existing built-up asphalt roof and insulation (approximately 6,000 SF) with a new modified bitumen roof system and insulation, replacement of existing rooftop equipment curbs if needed, and replacement of roof edge flashing/coping. The project also includes replacement of the existing obsolete HVAC DDC controller with new DDC controller, and assessment of the HVAC system and repair of an intake fan at the existing rooftop HVAC system as needed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
