furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and doing the work of constructing, according to Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents on file in the office of the Owner, the improvements hereinafter described The work of constructing Forest Hills Drive Repaving Project will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below. Principal Work: 1. 1,900 Tons Wear Course 2. 150 Tons Leveling Course 3. 2,250 Gallons Tack Coat 4. 22,000 SY Milling 5. Striping Road Complete No refunds will be made except to bidding Contractors, who shall be refunded for one bid set The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
