Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saginaw, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Boiler Repairs of two Water Treatment Plant steam heating boilers (2) Burnham Industrial Model 4FL.227.40.G.PF Year: 1999 Gross output horsepower 69.2 2318 LBS/HR 15 psig State ID Boiler 1: M389445M State ID Boiler 2: M389446M Remove and replace all the 2 inch tubes in both boilers in accordance with State of Michigan rules for 15psig steam heating boilers. 3) All hand hole gaskets shall be replaced on each boiler. 4) Remove and Replace the McDonnell & Millar No. 63m low water cut off complete assembly with bowl, to be supplied by Water Treatment Plant. 5) Remove and Replace the remaining low water cut-off gaskets on each boiler. 6) Remove and Replace all affected fire side rope gaskets shall be replaced on each boiler. 7) All debris shall be flushed from the interior of each boiler. 8) Remove and Replace the 3 inch base insulation material on the first burner pass floor on each boiler. 9) Any Flue Pipe Removal needs to be repaired and reinsulated. 10) Entrant and attendant to be a confined space trained and competent person. 11) Any Welding shall be performed by a National Board R stamp holder. 12) The boilers shall be pressure tested after repairs and sealed up ready for service upon completion. 13) Work to be completed by October 15, 2025.
