Question Deadline 08/18/2025 The Project generally consists of but is not necessarily limited to the following major items: Schedule 1 o Installation of a 330,000-gallon AWWA D110 Type III prestressed concrete tank and appurtenances, excavation for the tank site, tank foundation preparation, construction access road, structural backfill, grading, 6" to 12" ductile iron and PVC site piping, valves, fittings, control valves and vault, tank mixing system, security fence, site electrical, SCADA integration, surface restoration, site restoration. o Installation of 12" PVC water transmission main. Schedule 2 o Installation of a 2" polyethene water service for a future private booster pump station. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Lockwood Water and Sewer District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Construction Performance Bond and a Construction (Labor and Materials) Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. This project is funded in part or in whole with grant/loan funding from the Montana Coal Endowment Program (MCEP), the Renewable Resource Grant/Loan Program (RRGL), and the State Revolving Fund Program (SRF). The CONTRACTOR will be required to comply with all supplementary bidding and construction funding agency requirements presented in the Instructions to Bidders and Special Provisions and shall make themselves aware of these requirements prior to submitting a bid. Award of the project will be contingent upon receiving funding and award concurrence from funding agencies. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of the Bids specified above. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed ninety (90) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Lockwood Water and Sewer District.
