Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following work: 12,000 SF Remove brick pavers 500 CY Common excavation 500 TON Aggregate Base Class 5 350 LF Concrete curb and gutter (spot) 12,500 SF 4" Concrete walk 1,800 SF 6" Concrete walk 3 EA Casting assembly 2,500 SY Turf establishment 2,500 SY 4" Compacted topsoil 184 SF Truncated domes 63 EA Storm drain inlet protection All questions regarding the Plans and Contract Documents are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Additions, revisions, corrections and/or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda posted by the Engineer to the website referenced in the Advertisement for Bids, and emailed to plan holders in accordance with their notification settings assigned to their account. Reponses not deemed necessary or within too short of time period to the receiving of bids may not be issued. Only questions responded to by Addenda will be binding. Oral interpretations to the Contract Documents which are available to the Bidder will be without legal effect. Quest VirtuBid will not allow a submittal of a bid without properly acknowledging any addenda. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Burnsville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The City of Burnsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
