Project work includes but is not limited to the construction of a new 72-inch trunk gravity sewer and appurtenances to replace the existing 36- to 60-inch gravity sewer, with full switchover and abandonment of the existing line. Includes trenchless GDOT crossings, manholes, cleanouts, and bypass pumping. Contract Term. As required by O.C.G.A. 36-60-13, this Contract shall commence immediately upon the execution date. This Contract shall (i) terminate without further obligation on the part of the County each and every December 31st, as required by OC.G.A. 36-60-13, as amended, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the termination provisions of the Contract; (ii) automatically renew each January 1st, unless terminated in accordance with the termination provisions of this Contract; and (ii) terminate absolutely, with no further renewals, on December 31, 2029, unless extended by Change Order adopted and approved by the DeKalb County Governing Authority and the Contractor in accordance with the terms of this Contract. The County reserves the right to withhold all or a portion of the Early Completion Incentives until Final Completion is achieved to the County's satisfaction.
