Renovation of a mixed-use development in Jessup, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and pipeline.
The work for this project involves repairing and replacing the two gas lines located at Maryland State Police Waterloo Complex at 7777 Washington Boulevard, Jessup, Maryland 20794. It will also consist of connecting new piping to existing piping located at each building. Each new line will exit the ground outside of the buildings and then enter through the exterior wall to connect to existing piping due to new code requirements. All Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. This is for Small Business Reserve vendors only. Project Cost Class B - $100,000 to $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes Procurement Program Participation Goals MBE Participation (%) 10.00 H. The following bonds are required if the Contract Amount, including Unit Prices, Allowances and Alternates as applicable, is in excess of $100,000.00. 1) Bid Bond in the amount of 5% 2) Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquated damages of $ 350.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions".
