Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Manitoba Department of Public Service Delivery - Capital Project Planning and Delivery (CPPD) on behalf of the Owner of the Project, are inviting Pre-Qualified Suppliers to act as Construction Managers for building renovations at 190/200 Disraeli Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The existing building is a two storey, approximately 36,000 square feet on each level. It was originally constructed as an industrial facility and is currently in use as an emergency overnight shelter. The building has two addresses, 190/200 Disraeli. Project 1- Sobering Centre: The renovation of approximately 14,160 square feet of space into a new sobering center. This location is the main level of the 190 side and is currently occupied as part of the emergency shelter. This shelter service will remain active on site and therefore the project will be delivered in multiple phases. Project 2 - Transition Centre: Renovation of the remaining areas of the existing building including the second level at 190 and all of 200 Disraeli to accommodate a new Transition Centre. This will provide continuity of housing and support services to complex needs clientele. The total construction budget established for Project 1 is $10,000,000 and for Project 2 is $5,500,000 in Canadian dollars. These projects have aggressive schedules with a required Substantial Completion and occupancy to be achieved by August 1, 2026 and November 30, 2026 for the Sobering Centre and the Transition Centre Respectively. The project schedule is to be achieved through collaborative and progressive bidding of sub-trade packages to meet the specified schedule. Question Acceptance Deadline: 2025/08/20 05:00:00 PM EDT.
