Clairton Municipal Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Hauled Waste Receiving Station Contract Nos. 2025-02 & 2025-03 Question Deadline 09/02/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: The supply and installation of hauled-in waste receiving station. The Project has an expected duration of 300 days. The Owner herby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) after the Bid Due Date. This project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Commonwealth Financing Authority. Signs acknowledging the Commonwealth financial assistance or administrative participation will be erected in the project area as soon as possible after the effective date of this Contract. Acknowledgement of Commonwealth financial assistance may be combined with acknowledgement of other funding sourced on project signs or in project publications.
