Sealed proposals for the performance of subsurface explorations, including the makings of borings in soil and rock; securing samples and other work incidental thereto in the Town(s) of Farmington, Connecticut Ms. Priscilla Yen may also be contacted for questions at 646-252-1437 or Pyen@mtahq.org. It shall be understood by all bidders that the preliminary data presented is no intended as a warranty of the subsurface conditions to be encountered, but is furnished for information only. A certified check for the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. must accompany the bid, as a guarantee that the contract will be entered into, if awarded. In lieu of a certified check, a proposal guaranty in the form of a bond furnished by a surety company in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid will be accepted. The surety must be a corporate surety licensed to sign surety bonds in the State of Connecticut. A performance contract bond and payment bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required on execution of the contract. Weston & Sampson Engineers, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
