Renovation of a water / sewer project in Valley Park, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,800-square-foot water / sewer project.

All questions concerning this solicitation and specifications must be submitted and received via email, in writing to GINA JAMISON, gjamison@stlmsd.com not later than SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 BY: 11:00AM Roof Replacement -Blower Building Grand Glaize Treatment Plant .PREPARATION OF THE EXISTING ROOF AND NEW ROOF INSTALLATION This Project consists of one (1) roof area totaling approximately 2,800 SF. See the ro of drawing (Sheet A201) for additional information. 1. Basis of design (RoofNav): a. Roof 1: 455474-0-0 (or approved eq 2. The facility is FM Global insured. The installation shall be required to comply with: a. FM Global Review Process. b. FM Global Requirements including the FM Global Loss Prevention Data Sheets for Roofing Contractors. c. FM/UL Class: A d. Meet FM Global required submittal/re-submittal requirements. e. All materials supplied must comply with the approved RoofNav assembly. f. FM Global Severe Hail (SH) Rating C. Contractor to obtain local permit(s) as required by City and Municipality prior to beginning construction. Cost to be included in Base Bid. D. Contractor to include licensed subcontractors (as needed) to complete all work under the Base Bid. E. Provide required project submittals. Do not commence work without approved submittals from the Consultant. F. Distribute construction related loads to prevent damage to the structure. The roofer is to inspect the construction related areas before work to ensure the roof can accommodate the construction related loads and activities. Provide adequate precautions to secure the area before work commences. G. All flashing heights to meet or exceed eight inch (8") minimum requirement, unless otherwise noted. H. Provide overnight tie-ins at the end of each and every workday regardless of weather predictions. Refer to 1.16 for additional information. I. All metalwork to be designed, fabricated, and installed per SMACNA guidelines unless otherwise stated. J. Add/modify perimeter wood blocking as required to accommodate the new roofing system, detailing, and elevations. K. Upon completion provide warranties: 1. 20-year "NDL" full system warranty from the specified major roofing membrane manufacturer(s). Warranty shall cover labor, workmanship, and materials. a. Warranty to include 72 MPH wind speed coverage. 2. 2-year contractor warranty covering application and workmanship. 3. All metalwork, including counterflashing and other associated components, to provide a full system warranty. L. Care is to be taken to prevent the discoloration of the new roofing system during construction. M. Contractor to seal all voids in and around the decking along the parapet walls, curbs, penetrations, and transitions. The use of a sealant, expanding foam, or self-adhered vapor barrier as conditions dictate. N. Install crickets to the high side of curbs that are wider than twelve inches (12") and around drains as needed to provide positive slope to all drainage points. Crickets shall provide a slope at double the slope of the roof slope and with a width that is one-third of the cricket's full length. O. Remove and reinstall conduits and other associated equipment as needed for the work. Disconnects / reconnects shall be performed by a licensed electrician/HVAC contractor as part of this contract.
