**As of October 6, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City maintains over 200 miles of sanitary sewer collection piping. Much of the pipe network is over 50 years old and constructed of clay tile pipe. The City desires to hire a contractor to provide on demand No Dig rehabilitation services. Work will include the following: 1. Installation of cured in place pipe 2. Installation of cured in place short liner pipe repairs 3. Cut protruding service lateral taps 4. Manhole Rehabilitation with Cementitious Manhole Lining The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, identified as "Bid 2C26-004 Non-Excavated Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation" accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristol. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates as outlined within G.G.S. 31-53 are to apply to the resultant contract award. The successful Bidder shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
