Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cedartown, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of October 8, 2025 , project has not been awarded yet, project is expected to be awarded in 30 days.** The City of Cedartown, Georgia, is seeking sealed bids for the new construction of the DOWNTOWN CEDARTOWN CORRIDOR ENHANCEMENT as described in the Specifications, Construction Drawings, and Bid Documents. Submit one copy of executed offer on Bid Forms provided, signed, sealed in a closed, opaque envelope, and clearly identified with Bidder name and address, Project name, and Owner's name on the exterior. Bids are submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Includes the reconstruction of multiple parking areas and alleys in downtown Cedartown to add pedestrian connectivity, streetscape enhancements, and landscaping. The work involves pavement milling and demolition, grading, construction of curb and gutter/header curb, sidewalks, brick paving, brick seatwalls with ornamental fencing, CMU masonry dumpster enclosures, asphalt parking area and related striping, drainage, erosion control and landscaping. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Sum on standard surety company form. A faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Bid, and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond in the amount of not less than the amount of said Bid, one hundred percent (100%), as provided by Georgia Code Section 23-1704 and 23-1705, shall be furnished by the successful bidder. PHASE I (LOTS 1, 2, AND 3) is a partially federally funded project that will be subject to Davis-Bacon labor standards and wage rates. The additional STUBBS/HERBERT project will not be subject to Davis-Bacon labor standards as it will be a municipally funded project. The City of Cedartown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to resolicit if deemed necessary.
