Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Cedartown, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Construction of Bert Wood Park Restroom/Concession Building. The Contractor shall perform all work as described below: 1) Furnish and install 26' x 26'8" block building based on floor plan provided by owner 1. 8" smooth concrete block walls 2. All walls will be fully reinforced with #5 rebar 3. Prep and paint all block walls inside and out with Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial High-Performance Epoxy (or equivalent) 2) Build on a concrete slab (minimum 5") with 24" x 24" footers under all masonry 1. Slab will be fine broom finished 2. Concrete slab will be finished with 2 coats of industrial sealer 3. Minimum compression strength of 3000 psi 3) Install 4" block partition dividers in restrooms fully reinforced with #4 rebar 4) Roof willbe metal framed with 26ga. Standing Seam roofing and 30# felt underlayment 1. Roof color TBD by owner 2. Rake trim and eave flashing color TBD 5) Ceiling will be finished with moisture resistant drywall 1. Prep and paint all block walls inside and out with Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial High-Performance Epoxy (or equivalent) 6) Install ADA toilets in both men's and women's 1. Toilets shall be floor mounted white china 2. Flush valves shall be a chrome manual lever with ADA compliant metal oscillating non-hold-open handle 3. American Standard or equivalent 7) Install one urinal in men's and one standard toilet in women's 1. Urinal shall be top supply bottom discharge white china 2. American Standard or equivalent Install heavy duty sinks and accessories each restroom with ADA covers 8) 1. Sink will be wall mounted, vitreous china (American Standard or equivalent) 2. Single lever faucet brushed nickel on each restroom sink 3. Restroom accessories will be Bobrick Stainless Steel products or equivalent 4. Hand Dryers - Bobrick B-7128 ADA compliant 5. Toilet Paper Dispensers - Bobrick B-2892 surface mounted twin roll 6. Mirrors - Bobrick B-293 fixed position tilt 7. Grab bars - Bobrick B-68616 one in each wall horizontal in ADA toilet stalls 8. Urinal screen and stall doors - phenolic toilet partitions by Bobrick 9. Soap Dispensers - Bobrick 818615 heavy duty surface mounted 10. Floor mounted waste receptacle B-2300 11. System must be installed with drain to winterize system. 9) Install 3 ea. metal door units with closer and louvers in bottom of each door 1. Louvers shall be 12" x 12" 2. Deadlock will be ADA compliant with stainless push/pull 10) Install 1 heater in each restroom and concession 11) Install 30-gallon water heater in concession area (location TBD) 12) Install floor mounted utility sink with chrome plated goose neck sprayer/faucet 13) Install triple sink and single hand sink in concession area 1. 16-gauge stainless steel with goose neck sprayer/faucet 14) Install 4' tall x 6' wide roll up concession door with lock (location TBD) 15) Install all plumbing and electrical hook ups 16) Install LED wrap around light fixtures 1. Low profile 4 ft 3600 Lumens 2 in each restroom, 3 in concession and one in mechanical 17) Install LED wall packs outside of each door 1. Dark bronze 5000K 18) Install 200 amp 120/24OV 1 phase panel (location TBD) 19) Install 400amp panel for field lighting circuits (coordinate with Musco electrician - location TBD) 20) Install ADA compliant dual height drinking fountains **(quote as add-alternate) 1. Elkay model VRCTLDDSC wall mount vandal resistant, non-filtered, nonrefrigerated stainless (or equivalent) 2. One frost free hose bib below water fountain Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with Musco field lighting electrician for panel and conduit locations. The City will provide contact information. Field Lighting Panel Requirements: Football Field: 2 x 60 amp 3 pole Breakers Softball Field #1: 2x 25 amp 3 pole Breakers Softball #2: 2 x 25 amp 3 pole Breakers Volleyball1 & 2: - 1 x 15 amp 3 pole Breaker Musco Cabinet: 1 x 20amp 2 pole breaker Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty five days after time has been called on the date of opening except in accordance with the provisions of Georgia law. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent of the Bid. Both a performance bond and a payment bond will be required, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Sum prior to execution of contract. The Owner reserves the right in its sole and complete discretion to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner further reserves the rights in its sole and complete discretion to reject all bids and to accept the bid considered most advantageous to the City. The Owner anticipates that the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who provides the lowest bid within the budget. In judging whether the bidder is responsible, the Owner will consider, but is not limited to, the following: Whether the bidder or its principals are currently ineligible, debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from bidding or contracting by any state or federal agency, department, or authority; Whether the bidder or its principals have been terminated for cause or are currently in default on a public works contract. Whether the bidder's past work provides evidence of an ability to successfully complete public works projects within the established time, quality, or cost, or to comply with the bidder's contract obligations.
