Renovation of a municipal facility in Warwick, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,664-square-foot municipal facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of removal of the existing bituminous and gravel roof material to the existing metal decking and the replacement with new PVC roofing system including roof insulation, protection board and fully adhered membrane system, removal and replacement of all rooftop HVAC Mechanical units with new roof curbs, existing roof hatch shall remain and be raised with new roof curb as required. There is a small area of roofing that has been infilled with wood and needs to be replaced with metal decking. Work shall also include the complete replacement of the existing Fire Alarm System including new ceiling devices, wiring and control panel. All abandoned system shall be removed and disposed of completely. The Rhode Island Department of Administration, Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is seeking qualified construction firms to provide construction services for the installation of a new roof, roof top units and fire alarm system, for the state building located at 560 Jefferson Blvd. Warwick, RI 02886. Construction services will include removal of stone ballast and EPDM roofing membrane, parapet wall and cap. The replacement of seven roof top units and the fire alarm system. Refer to the drawings and specifications for more detailed information The substantial completion date is December 2, 2025.
