The total project budget is $2,903,000 and will be financed using federal CMAQ and Municipal and County State Aid funding Q And A Open 05/08/2025 03:30:00 Q And A Close 21/08/2025 01:30:00 The project will include the following elements: 1) Reconstruction of four (4) traffic signals. 2) Replacement of up to five (5) miles of fiber-optic interconnect. 3) Replacement of three (3) traffic-signal controllers. 4) Installation of CCTV cameras at approximately six (6) existing signals. 5) ADA pedestrian ramp work as needed. 4. PROJECT SCOPE The design deliverables/tasks for this project include: 1) Weekly staff meetings to discuss design topics and to meet with subject-matter experts. 2) Preparation of specifications and other bid documents. 3) Management of all project tasks. 4) Regular meetings with project team throughout the design process. 5) Participation in design and stakeholder meetings with other relevant staff and other agencies as needed. 6) Public engagement, primarily focused on construction impacts near the reconstructed traffic signals. 7) Preparation of the Project Memorandum and related documents, including any systems engineering documentation, findings of public interest, etc. 8) Preparation of Signal Justification Reports and any data collection required to complete. 9) Evaluation of traffic operations to determine the appropriate traffic-signal phasing at all reconstructed traffic signals. 10) Evaluation of the existing fiber-optic infrastructure to determine where conduit and/or cable replacement is needed. 11) Completion of all documentation required as part of the State Aid Delegated Contract Process throughout the life of the project. 12) Management of all permitting processes, including any railroad coordination. 13) Identification of any property rights needed to complete the project, and any documentation necessary to complete the appropriate ROW Certificate. 14) Preparation of complete project bid-package, including preliminary and final plans & estimates (30, 60, 90, final), and draft and final specifications (90, final) based on typical City specifications. 15) Preparation of comment response logs documenting revisions made based on agency review. 16) Preparation of addenda and responses to contractor questions during advertisement.
