Site work and paving for a civil project in Inman, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Phase 6 project consists of replacing existing gravity sewer along Powell, Bridges and Prospect Streets. The gravity sewer line will be 8-inch PVC and DIP approximately 3,000 linear feet in length with manholes, sediment and erosion control, clearing, roadway encasement bores, site work, and restoration including all appurtenances required for the complete project. The successful bidder must comply with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) on this project concerning payment of prevailing wage rates for laborers and mechanics on construction contracts. The contractor must also work with the appropriate authorities to determine wage classifications for the specific activities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. The Owner anticipates award of the contract within thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids; however, to allow adequate time for funding agency approval, bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders.
