Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work involves the construction of a fully functioning electrical substation, ready for energization, located at 328 Ballardvale St, Wilmington, MA, as set forth in the specifications and drawings. It is required that the General Contractor on this project be the Electrical Contractor. Requests may be sent by email at: msullivan@rmld.com. In order to receive consideration, such request must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2025 This is a Prevailing Wage Rate project. The work involves the construction and related work for RMLD's new substation located at 328 Ballardvale Street, Wilmington, Massachusetts, as set forth in the specifications and drawings. The work includes but is not limited to: 1. Construction of a new 115 - 13.8 kV substation, including installation of a new 115 kV outdoor switchyard, two 115 - 13.8 kV power transformers and a new switchgear assembly; 2. Excavation and backfilling for below grade structures; 3. Installation of the below grade structures, including foundations, conduites, drainage pipes, oil containment system and grounding system; 4. Installation of above grade steel structures, electrical equipment and associated items; 5. Installation of required control cable and power cable; and 6. Placement of filter fabric and crushed stone.
