Remodeling of a residential development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a residential development.
Francis Gatehouse Mailroom Remodel. Work consists of remodeling of seating area and mailroom and installation of new mailboxes. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid price. Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under M.G.L. c. 149, 44A-J. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. These contracts are subject to Federal Davis Bacon Wages and OSHA Certification. The Project consists of: demolition of the existing mailboxes, flooring and wall base, moving a glazed partition, installation of 90 new mailboxes and 10 parcel lockers in a new location, new LVT flooring and base, with a new counter, shelving and other misc. finish carpentry, new work and touch-up painting. The work is estimated to cost $96,000.00 All questions must be directed in writing only to the Chief Procurement Officer, Rita V. Brousseau at rbrousseau@lhma.org by August 28, 2025, no later than 3:00 PM They are expressed as percentages of the aggregate workforce in each trade. The goal for minority participation is 4.0%, trade by trade, of the workforce. The goal for the participation of women is 6.9%, trade by trade, of the workforce
