Any party winterizing the systems should ensure that their procedures are thorough enough to prevent any damage that can be caused from freeze/thaw. Winterizing party should also ensure that their measures are protecting the pools from lifting and offering sufficient protection of the pool surfaces. Before beginning any winterization or opening procedures, inspect and confirm that ground water conditions are suitable for draining pools. Question Deadline 08/18/2025 at 5:00 PM ET CLOSING 1. Closing of pool includes winterizing the pool and all related plumbing for pools only. The pools shall be winterized by October 3, 2025. 2. Service contractor shall remove any guard rails and ladders, etc. 3. Drain pool approximately 1-2 feet down from top of gutter. 4. Remove drain plug from bottom of sand filter 5. Remove ADA pool lift and store inside. 6. Remove ADA pool lift batteries and store inside heated space ensuring to charge batteries as specified by manufacturer. 7. Remove climbing walls and store in the hallway of the bathhouse.
