Pasquotank County is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a 20-Year Solid Waste Master Plan. Pasquotank County aims to develop a 20-Year Solid Waste Master Plan that outlines a strategy for optimizing current and future operations, reflecting both current and emerging needs, and possible future public/private or solely private models. The plan will serve as a key communication tool for regulators, local elected officials, the Pasquotank County Solid Waste Committee, employees, and other stakeholders. It will help answer questions, guide decisions on site utilization, identify and prepare for future capital improvement needs, provide guidelines for orderly expansion, identify best department practices, and assist with future permit requirements. All questions, requests for interpretation, and comments shall be prepared in writing and submitted to John Shannon (shannonj@co.pasquotank.nc.us) via email by August 14, 2025 at 12pm.
