Site work and paving for a civil project in Geneva, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work includes the installation of new 8" ductile iron water main by open cut including valves in vaults and fire hydrants; reconnecting residential water services; connecting to existing water main of various sizes; abandoning existing water main in place; restoring all damaged concrete, asphalt, and turf; and all other required and incidental items necessary to complete the work.in accordance with the Contract Documents. Location - Division Street - 2nd Place to East Side Drive All BIDS shall be submit ted on the forms provided, nd shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of their bid amount made out to the City of Geneva, Illinois. All persons working on this project shall be paid no less than current prevailing wages stipulated by the Illinois Department of Labor in the County of Kane and/or as determined by a Court of Law having jurisdiction. The City of Geneva, Illinois reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities. Bidders may with draw their proposal if a request is made in writing or in person before the date and time specified for the opening of the proposals. Anticipated Award Date: September 15, 2025
