The City of Carson ("City") is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the supply and delivery of pool chemicals and related services on a non-exclusive, as-needed basis, in accordance with the specifications described herein. Question Deadline 08/26/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Response Types Line Items Response File Cost File - Exhibit C (required) Required General Attachments - Exhibit A (required) Type of Award Lump Sum Start/Delivery Date October 2025 Project Duration 5 Years The awarded Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to supply and deliver the following chemicals to four (4) City-operated aquatic facilities: UN 1791, Hypochlorite Solution, 8, PG III (Sodium Hypochlorite) UN 1789, Hydrochloric Acid, 8, PG II, RQ - Straight (Muriatic Acid) Pool-grade Sodium Bicarbonate (50-pound bags) Chlorine Tablets (50-pound buckets) The Contractor shall deliver and transfer bulk chemicals directly into designated on-site tanks using 1- inch male Camlock hose fittings provided at each location. The Contractor shall supply all required pumping equipment and perform secure chemical transfers in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements.
