Site work for a water / sewer project in Orangevale, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Orange Vale Water Company (OVWC) is inviting interested and qualified drilling contractors to participate in a public bid for drilling a test hole for a proposed new municipal well in Orangevale California. The test hole will involve drilling an 8" dia. bore hole approx. 300' below ground surface, reaming it to 12"in dia., and performing isolation zone sampling and water quality analysis. The Project will consist of the following major components: 1. Provide all weather access 2. Mobilization and demobilization 3. Install a temporary conductor casing 4. Drill a pilot borehole to 300 feet 5. Geophysical surveys 6. Ream the pilot borehole 7. Perform aquifer isolation zone aquifer testing 8. Cleanout the borehole 9. Destroy the borehole 10. Site cleanup A mandatory virtual pre-proposal MS teams conference and a mandatory pre-proposal site visit might be scheduled during the bidding period. Bidders will be informed of the times and dates of these conference and site visit. The work must be completed by November 28, 2025.
