Renovation of a military facility in Ridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The scope of the project is to redesign the HVAC system at Building 2865A. The work includes but not limited to installation of heat pump rooftop air handling unit (HP RTU) with a variable speed relief fan, MERV 8 and 13 Filters, Economizer, UV Lights, heating/cooling coil, modulating hot gas reheat to allow subcooling for dehumidification, control, backup modulating gas heating coil, and supply fan with VFD. Provide RTU downstream with VAV boxes with electric resistance reheat coils. Provide 5 Steam Generators, Exhaust Fan, Return Fan and associated accessories. Provide structural Engineer to evaluate the structural requirements for installation of the proposed equipment. The period of performance is 360 calendar days. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with DFARS 236.204 (or FAR 36.204, depending on project size) Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Time for Completion: In accordance with FAR 52.211-10 Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work, the Government desires completion of construction within 360 calendar days after award (including 15 calendar days for submission and approval of bonds and insurance).
