Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. Working plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the addition of a 2,500-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) announces the intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Analysis to evaluate the impact of a Proposed Action to demolish two facilities and rebuild one larger storage facility The new facility will be 58 cubic feet larger than the total of the two demolished facilities. Construction will be on the footprint of one of the demolished facilities, expanding it by 2,500 net square feet. WPAFB is notifying the public that the Proposed Action will be located within the 100-year floodplain of Area A at WPAFB. The Proposed Action is subject to the requirements and objectives of Executive Order 11988, Floodplain Management. The Air Force invites the public to provide comments in the next 30 days on the proposal and any practicable alternatives that may reduce the impacts.
