A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** BASE BID - consisting of demolition, drainage work, incidental site work, grading, earthwork, base/sub-base work, asphaltic concrete roadway, base work, sub-base work, lime treatment, and other site work necessary to construct the LA 77 Hwy. Realignment Improvements, Multi-Phased, (Cedar Street Extension - Phase 1) Project generally consisting of approximately 3,700 linear feet of new asphaltic concrete roadway, a spur road with intersection to existing LA 77, an on grade traffic circle having 22 feet wide travel lane, 12 feet wide concrete shoulder, with barrier curbing and mountable curbing, including storm drainage structures/inlets, storm drain piping, landscaping, and grade and surfacing modifications to approximately 350 linear feet of existing two lane asphalt roadways (namely Frontage Road and Cedar Street Extension). This project does not include any work within Railroad right-of-way. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid and Additional Bid Items (ABI) andmust be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to dobusiness in the State of Louisiana, equal to 100% of the Contract amount, including Additional Bid Items (ABI), if required. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids and in accordance with directives and guidance published byFacility Planning and Control and Louisiana Revised Statutes, the provisions and requirements of those stated in theadvertisement for bids and those required on the bid form shall not be waivered.
