Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Bidder shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of this project as follows: Improve Illinois Road from the right of way of Interstate 69 to Rockhill Park with resurfacing from Grand National Drive/Magnavox Way to West Jefferson; widening of the road from Getz Road to the Avenue of Autos; inclusion of offset turn lanes at four intersections; narrowing the lane width to 11 feet; and constructing a 10- foot wide multi-use trail from Getz Road to North Rockhill Park. The project includes intersection improvements, roadway widening, lane narrowing, multi-use trail, new curb, retaining wall, stormwater improvements, maintenance of traffic, traffic signal upgrades, ADA curb ramps, park benches. No bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City, upon any debt or contract, or who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days to allow review of bids before announcing award of contract. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. EBE GOALS - The City's goal for qualified Emerging Business Enterprise (E.B.E), as subcontractors on this project is ten percent (10%) of the contract amount. QA date - 9-14-2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
