New Haven Ave - Rea Magnet Wire Intersection Improvements Replace the existing traffic signal at the intersection of New Haven Avenue and the entrance to Rea Magnet wire that is in unrepairable condition. The City will also be taking ownership of the signal as public infrastructure. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days to allow review of bids before announcing award of contract. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. Question Deadline 09/05/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. James Reitz, Assistant Traffic Engineer, James.Reitz@cityoffortwayne.org.Questions received less than four days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
