Site work for a road / highway in Ferrysburg, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Overhead vehicle detection systems and advance signing with actuated flashing beacons Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. All work must be performed by MDOT pre-approved contractors. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Verplank Trucking Co. in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days after the receipt of bids. The project will be awarded to the verified lowest bid of a qualified bidder. See Instructions to Bidders section 4.D and 4.E, included in the contract documents, for additional information. The Project Award and Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be by September 22, 2025. Final project completion shall be by November 28, 2025 Doc Notes: Drawings and specifications are available online or at the 4910 Stariha Drive, Muskegon, MI 49441 or the 100 E. Chapin Street, Ste A, Cadillac, MI 49601 offices of Prein&Newhof. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who have been pre-qualified by the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders or are active members of the Prein&Newhof.
