The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the removal and installation of Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) at FCI Memphis. The scope includes shutting off main power feeds to existing electrical panels using Lock Out Tag Out procedures, disconnecting and removing one old UPS, and installing 3-position switches on the load side of the UPS systems to enable switching between UPS and utility power. Safety disconnects will be installed on the line side of the UPS systems for maintenance or replacement purposes. The contractor will supply one UPS unit (type 9355-30) and battery cabinets (type 9355-30, Part Number: KA1512100000010) for the Communication and Control Center, with batteries capable of providing at least 90 minutes of backup power. Additionally, the contractor will re-feed power sources to existing panels in the Communication Room and Control Center previously protected by the UPS. The solicitation has been modified to extend the bid closing date to November 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST. A voluntary site visit is scheduled for November 24, 2025, at 9:30 AM CST. Vendors must submit a completed NCIC check form to Mr. Flanagan via email by November 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM CST to register for the site visit. A Q\&A attachment has also been incorporated.
