Site work for a mixed-use development in Kelowna, British Columbia. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals from qualified submitters to complete improvements at Rutland Recreation Park, including but are not limited to the installation of synthetic turf field base, parking lot, off-leash dog area, community garden, laneway upgrades, plazas, and renovations to the existing natural grass field. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: 10,400 square metres of new synthetic turf base (turf supply and install by others) including field drainage, aggregates, fencing, lighting, shelters, curbing, netting, and sports furnishings. Off-leash dog area including regrading, drainage, lighting, and fencing. Community garden including planters, fencing, relocated existing shed and granular surfacing. Parking lot and maintenance area including asphalt parking lot, curbs, linemarking, fencing, and plantings. Renovations to existing natural grass field including irrigation and re-grading. All associated park pathways, multi-use trails, service accesses, and plazas. All site furnishings including benches, trash receptacles, signage, drinking fountains, and misting stations. All softscaping including trees, shrubs, perennials, turf, meadow mix, and sod. Irrigation including both natural grass field and landscape areas.
