Renovation of an educational facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Trustees of Purdue University will solicit and interview prospective CMc firms for the Elliott Hall of Music Ceiling Tile Replacement - 2026 project. The RFP process will consist of two stages. The first stage (RFP-A/B) will be a qualifications based review. From these responses, firms will be shortlisted to proceed to the next stage. Purdue Environmental Health & Safety to have full access to contractor scaffolding for removal and disposal of asbestos tiles. Scaffolding is required for ceiling access. Once tiles have been removed, prep existing surface for installation of new acoustic ceiling tiles. Designer to specify replacement tiles, tiles will consist of equal to or better acoustic value than existing tiles. Access to the auditorium provided through the dock. Protect the stage, seating and surroundings and equipment, as necessary. Project construction to start in June 2026 and to be completed in January 2027 or before.
