Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Amity, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of October 2nd, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new 91 long x 24-6 wide single-span bridge with steel I girders, concrete abutments on drilled shafts with rock sockets, W-beam railing, traffic control, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owners budget.
