The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a new 110 single span bridge with prestressed concrete NU-53 girders, concrete deck, concrete abutments, galvanized steel HP piling, SL-1 railing with crashworthy end terminals, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
