Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hollywood, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of August 21, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is the design phase. Design is scheduled to be completed in October 2025. It is anticipated bidding will commence late April 2026. Construction is projected to start in summer 2026 and end early winter 2027. Repave the existing roadway to improve the resiliency of our infrastructure. Replace and upgrade signs and pavement markings to meet current standards and increase reflectivity. Improve drainage at the SE Bridge Road and Petty Street intersections and locations along the corridor where there is standing water today. Upgrade all guardrail along the corridor to current standards to prevent errant vehicles from leaving the road, improving safety. Modify the existing curb returns and ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards to facilitate improved access for users with disabilities. Construct sidewalk from Highbourne Way to the Jonathan Dickinson State Park entrance 600-feet to the south.
