Type of Award Lump Sum License Requirements California Class C-10 Contractor's License Bid Valid 180 Days Minimum Project Duration Initial 3-year contract plus two, 1-year renewal options Q&A Deadline September 9, 2025 2:00 PM (PDT) The City is soliciting competitive bids from qualified Contractors to provide Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and Generator Installation, Maintenance & Repair Services per ATTACHMENT A The contractor shall possess the following qualifications and certifications: 1) Documented experience in providing preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for UPS, ATS, and generator systems in municipal, emergency response, and critical infrastructure facilities. 2) Employment of trained and certified technicians with demonstrated expertise in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of UPS systems, ATS equipment, and diesel/natural gas-powered generator units. 3) Familiarity with and adherence to applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations, including but not limited to: a. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) b. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) c. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) d. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) e. California Air Resources Board (CARB) and South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) (if applicable) 4) Proven ability to coordinate maintenance activities with facility operations, minimizing disruption and ensuring continuity of critical services. 5) Capacity to respond to emergency repair requests within the required response times, with access to necessary parts, equipment, and mobile generator units as needed. 7) Contractor must have been in business continuously for the most recent five (5) years prior to the date of this RFP. 8) Minimum three (3) most recent years of experience performing similar services as those detailed in the Scope of Services section of this RFP. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via online. Responses to all questions will be posted on online no later than the date and time shown at the schedule of key RFP dates on the cover page of this RFP. All prospective Proposers are advised to visit online on a regular basis as responses may be posted earlier than the date above (if applicable). No verbal requests or responses will be accepted. Significant interpretations or clarifications will be addressed via addenda to this RFP. Requests submitted for City's consideration of proposed terms and conditions, including modifications to the City's RFP and/or Contract terms and conditions must be submitted by the deadline for questions. Such requests should include an attachment in Word or PDF format on formal company letterhead that shows the requested modifications. Significant interpretations or clarifications and responses to questions received by the deadline will be addressed via addenda to this RFP, which will be released and posted on online under the "Addenda/Emails" tab.
