The County currently operates two main fleet service locations: the Civic Center Garage and the Fruit Street Fleet Facilities. While these sites have supported operations for many years, they now face limitations due to aging infrastructure, constrained capacity, and operational inefficiencies resulting from their separation. In alignment with the County's strategic plan to phase out these outdated facilities, an open lot behind the Data Center at 1400 S. Grand Avenue in Santa Ana has been identified as the optimal site for a new, consolidated fleet facility that will better support both current demands and future growth. Question Submission Deadline:October 17, 2025, 2:00pm Response Submission Deadline:October 22, 2025, 2:00pm The proposed Project is for the new Grand Avenue Fleet Garage located behind 1400 S. Grand Ave., Santa Ana, CA. The new Grand Avenue Fleet Garage project will create a centralized, modern hub for the County's fleet operations on the designated lot behind the Data Center. Designed with efficiency and functionality in mind, the facility will include state-of-the-art service bays, administrative and technician workspaces, parts storage, and improved traffic flow for fleet vehicles. The consolidation of services from the Civic Center and Fruit Street locations will streamline operations, reduce redundancy, and enhance service delivery across County departments. This project aligns with the County's goals for sustainable infrastructure and operational excellence. The current conceptual budget estimate range for the GMP is $20,000,000 to $25,000,000 As per Adda 3, Question Submission Deadline October 15, 2025, 2:00pm *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
