SCOPE: The Winfield Correctional Facility is accepting competitive bids for a sewer piping and lift station replacement project at the facility. The existing piping is cracked and leaking, supported by a come-a-long with exposed electrical at the lift station. This Project will consist of replacing existing cast piping with new PVC waste drain piping and replacing existing lift station with a new Weil Dual Vertical Wastewater system and Duplex control panel. The awarded contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of old materials and equipment including existing cast iron piping, lift station, pumps, float and starters. Quality: All materials, supplies or equipment offered by the Contractor shall be new, unused in any regard and of most current design. The awarded contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of old materials and equipment including existing cast iron piping, lift station, pumps, float and starters. All materials, supplies and equipment shall be first class in all respects. Seconds or flawed items will not be acceptable. All materials, supplies or equipment shall be suitable for their intended purpose. Workman-Like Manner: The vendor shall provide all equipment and materials necessary for the completion of their work. Work shall be completed in a professional and workman like manner. Work shall be complete, neat, and capable of being utilized by the Owner for its intended purpose. All work not completed to the Owner's satisfaction shall be corrected by the Vendor, to the Owner's satisfaction. Vendors should provide all their own safety equipment and personal protection equipment necessary to keep their employees safe.
