Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Winfield, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
**As of March 10th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 18, 2026** Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of a 113.5-foot tall, 200,000-gallon, single pedestal-style, welded steel water storage tower; removal of a 323,400-gallon modified standpipe water tower and associated infrastructure; installation of underground piping, including valves, hydrants, and related appurtenances; and miscellaneous site improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime contract, and shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to select the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, waive any informalities or minor defects, and/or reject any and all bids. Each bidder must deposit bid security in the amount, form, and subject to conditions provided in the information for bidders. Bidders are required to comply with Local, State, and Federal regulations as stated in the bid documents, including the President's Executive Order No. 11246 on Equal Employment Opportunity, the Anti-Lobbying Act, and American Iron and Steel requirements. Statutes mandating domestic preference apply, and all iron and steel products used must be produced in the United States. Associated certifications and completion of required documents will be necessary for successful completion of the project.
