Contract Period 270 The project consists of replacing the existing roof system for Building 4405 (built 2011)in entirety and to make necessary repairs of all deficiencies in conjunction with the roof replacements with 80 mil (rolled goods) PVC roof with 30-year warranty NDL, No Dollar Limit. Other work required to complete this scope may consist of repairs and/or replacing flashing, soffit, curbs, drains, rotten wood, louvers, roof vents, roof exhausts, antenna, awning, masonry, caulking, sealant degradation, adding insulation, etc. The replacement of certain components may be required based on the type of roof system, any deficiencies to be repaired. Lightening protection system to be tested prior to removal, repaired if needed, and reinstalled with UL Master Label certificate. Importance is also placed on ease of future maintenance and longevity of the roofing system. All walking pads to allow water drainage as per manufacturer's instructions. Add concrete splash blocks at each downspout, ensure that grade slopes away from building. Replace gutters, downspouts, and soffits/fascia. Repair all internal gutters and clear any issues to make sure they are functioning properly. Return site to pre-construction condition. The building is to be occupied for the duration of construction. According to DoD UFC 3-110-03 Roofing (w/ change 5 12 June 2020), this roof will require a Registered Roof Consultant on the design team. The Contracting Officer (KO / COR) shall determine the final date for submission of questions.
